Beef stew with pears is sure to add to the collection of fans of unusual culinary experiments. Thanks to the original combination of flavors, the dish will impress any gourmet.
It is necessary
- - 1.5 kg of beef
- - 1 lemon
- - 5 small pears
- - vegetable oil
- - 2 tbsp. l. honey
- - ground black pepper
- - fresh herbs
- - 2 medium sized onions
- - salt
Instructions
Step 1
Pour hot water over lemon and squeeze juice out of it. Pour 2 liters of water into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Add lemon juice and pears, previously cut into 4 pieces. Boil pears for 3-5 minutes.
Step 2
Beat the meat, cut into small cubes, salt, pepper and roll each piece in flour. Fry the meat in vegetable or olive oil until golden brown.
Step 3
In the process of frying meat, add chopped onions to the contents of the pan, pour in honey diluted in water and simmer over low heat for one hour.
Step 4
Put the meat in a baking dish, pre-oiled with vegetable oil, add pears. Simmer the dish for 30 minutes in the oven. Garnish the beef slices with a sprig of parsley or finely chopped green onions before serving.
