Step 1

We knead the dough. Cottage cheese must be well grinded so that there are small grains.

Mix sour cream, chicken eggs, salt and sugar and add cottage cheese.

Separate the whites from the yolks carefully. Whisk lightly and add to the dough as well.

Step 4

We extinguish the soda with acetic acid and stir in the still batter. Beat with a fork or whisk.

Step 5

Add flour in small portions and knead the dough. The dough should not be tight, but soft and not sticky.

Step 6

Shaping donuts. At the beginning, we separate small pieces from the main dough and make balls from them. Roll sausages out of balls on the table or with our hands. We fasten the tips of the sausages. We leave to rest a little. Once you've finished shaping the donuts, you can put a frying pan on the stove and pour oil into it to heat up.

Step 7

Gently put the products in the heated oil and reduce the heat so that the donuts gradually reach full readiness. So they will gain pomp and fry. The vegetable oil must be added little by little so that the temperature is not lost. You don't have to wait for the donuts to darken, it is best to take them out when they have already become golden.

Step 8

Sprinkle the finished donuts with icing sugar. In order for the powder to lay loosely, it is necessary to pour it through a strainer.
