Frittata is an Italian dish that is usually cooked in the oven. It turns out it is like something between a casserole and an omelet.
It is necessary
- - ham 150 g;
- - green onions 1 bunch;
- - potatoes 1 kg;
- - milk 0.5 cups;
- - olive oil 2 tbsp. spoons;
- - salt;
- - ground black pepper;
- - Parmesan cheese 50 g;
- - chicken egg 8 pcs.
Instructions
Step 1
Peel the potatoes, cut them into thin slices and place them in the olive oil preheated in a pan. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and cook the potatoes for 10 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally to brown all the potato slices evenly.
Step 2
While the potatoes are cooking, chop the green onions and separate the white and green parts. Send the white parts to the pan with the potatoes. Chop the ham and send it to the pan as well. In a deep bowl, combine eggs, milk and grated Parmesan cheese. Whisk well and, when the mixture is sufficiently smooth, add the green slices of the chopped onion to the mixture.
Step 3
Once the potatoes are slightly softened and lightly browned, pour the beaten eggs into the skillet. Make sure the liquid is evenly distributed. Continue cooking the frittata, without stirring, for another 1-2 minutes, or until the edges have grabbed. Transfer the pan to the oven and cook for another 20 minutes at 200 degrees.
Let the frittata sit for 5 minutes before serving.
