Making such a cake is quite simple, the only difficulty lies in the correct introduction of the cranberry filling. The filling should never come into contact with the walls of the mold. Cranberry pie is considered to be a baked product of the national English cuisine, however, such cakes are present in many national cuisines of the world.

To make cranberry pie, you will need: 3 cups of wheat flour, 200 grams of granulated sugar, 150 grams of fresh cranberries, 70 milliliters of milk, 1 vanilla pod, 150 grams of butter, 2 eggs, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, a pinch of salt.

Traditionally, cranberries are used to make fruit drinks, juices and jelly. Its leaves can be used in tea. The popularity of the use of berries in drinks is due to the high content of vitamins in its composition.

To make cranberry pie, prepare the sugar first. Pour the required amount of granulated sugar into a medium bowl. Grind the vanilla pod and add to the sugar, stir the ingredients evenly. Next, pour 3 tablespoons of granulated sugar into a separate bowl, add 30 grams of butter and one tablespoon of wheat flour to them. Grind the ingredients thoroughly into crumbs and refrigerate. This will be the cranberry pie powder.

Now you need to prepare the dough itself. Soften 120 grams of butter and place in a blender bowl. Add 150 grams of granulated vanilla sugar to the butter and beat until fluffy. Then add 2 eggs to this mass and beat again. After that, put 2 cups of flour, baking powder, salt to the oil mixture, pour out the milk. Beat the dough until smooth.

Prepare a baking dish and brush it with a little vegetable oil. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees.

Place the cranberries in a separate container and crush them with a wooden spoon. Add 3 tablespoons of granulated sugar to the cranberries and mash it well with the berries.

Put 2/3 of the whole dough into the prepared form, distribute the cranberry filling in the center. Make sure that the cranberry juice does not get on the sides of the mold, otherwise the cake will burn. Place the remaining dough on top of the filling. Remove the powder from the refrigerator and spread it evenly over the surface of the cake.

Place the pie in a preheated oven and bake for 40-45 minutes. After the time has passed, remove the cranberry pie from the oven and leave to cool to room temperature without removing it from the baking dish. When the cake is completely cool, remove the pan, cut the cake into portions and serve.
