In terms of composition, this recipe is similar to goulash with rice, but there are serious taste differences. Cooked rice in vegetables tastes completely different than cooked separately. Let's make rice stewed with meat and vegetables.

Step 1
Wash the peppers and tomatoes, cut the stalks out of the peppers and clean the seeds. Grind them in a blender or mince them. Pour the tomato mixture into a saucepan or cast iron. Add salt, sugar and pepper.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer without a lid on a low simmer. The mass should be evaporated until it thickens. In other words, the volume should decrease by 4 times.

While the sauce is boiling down, prepare the meat. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat, add finely chopped onion and simmer, stirring occasionally, until soft and lightly browned.

Cut the meat into small pieces. Increase the heat in the skillet to maximum, place the pieces of meat there. Fry, stirring, for 4 minutes.
Step 5
Pour sour cream into the evaporated tomato sauce. Increase heat and bring to a boil. Place the meat and onions in a cast iron pot. Close the lid and reduce heat, then simmer for 20 minutes.
Step 6
Rinse the rice and put it in a cast iron pot. Stir the mixture and cook until the rice is cooked. You can add boiling water if necessary. It is advisable to serve the dish hot, sprinkled with fresh herbs.
