A wonderful dish for the summer, when there are plenty of vegetables and herbs around. It is prepared very quickly and simply, but it turns out to be incredibly tasty.
It is necessary
- - 500 g of beef or any other meat
- - 3 large potatoes
- - 1 carrot
- - 2 sweet bell peppers
- - 2 tomatoes
- - 1 eggplant
- - garlic, the number of cloves by the number of baking pots
- - 2 onions
- - a bunch of greens
- - salt
- - pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the meat under running water and dry with paper towels. Cut the meat into cubes with a sharp knife. Peel the onion, cut into cubes, peel and chop the potatoes. Wash and chop the eggplant and tomatoes. Grate carrots. Wash the bell pepper, cut and carefully remove the core with all the seeds. Cut it into cubes too.
Step 2
Mix chopped vegetables and meat, salt and pepper.
Put the mixture of meat and vegetables in baking pots, filling the pots by about two-thirds. Squeeze a clove of garlic into each pot from above through a garlic press.
Pour some water into the pots, it should not cover vegetables with meat.
Step 3
Close the pots with a lid. Put in an oven preheated to 180-200 C for an hour.
Serve meat with vegetables directly in the pots, sprinkle with herbs on top.
