Of course, this salad can be bought at the supermarket, but the dish will turn out to be much tastier if you make it at home, choosing the right seasonings and knowing some tricks.

Many Korean carrot recipes have been invented. In the classic version, 4 spices are used: red and black ground pepper, fresh or granulated garlic, coriander seeds. You will also need sugar, vinegar and salt.

The main seasoning in Korean carrots is coriander, because it is he who gives the dish a nutty and sweet taste. Lovers of this salad can make a mixture of seasonings with a stock, but in this case, you need to use not fresh, but granulated garlic. It is very easy to calculate the amount of spices: for 1 tsp. sugar needed 3 tsp. coriander seeds, 1 tsp. black pepper, 2 tsp each garlic and salt. The spiciness of the dish can be changed with red ground pepper, but it is better not to add more than 2 pinches.

To prepare Korean-style carrot seasoning, first grind the coriander grains, add coarse salt, sugar, garlic and pepper. Turn on the blender again for 3-4 minutes. Leave for a few seconds for the spices to settle and pour them into a storage container.

For this dish, you only need sweet and juicy carrots, otherwise the salad will turn out to be dry and bland. It can be filled not only with vegetable oil, but also with corn, cottonseed or sesame oil.

It is also important to remember the order of adding the ingredients: sprinkle the dish with cilantro before serving, and put the rest of the spices in hot oil (its temperature should be at least 90 degrees).
