Recipe for a delicious cake with a harmonious combination of prunes and chocolate. It consists of a delicate biscuit and a pleasant cream mousse. The cake is easy to prepare, but it looks beautiful even on the festive table.
It is necessary
- For biscuit:
- - 180 ml of water;
- - 110 g of sugar;
- - 80 g of wheat flour;
- - 30 g cocoa;
- - 1 egg;
- - 3 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil;
- - 1 teaspoon of milk;
- - a pinch of salt, baking soda, baking powder.
- For cream mousse:
- - 300 ml cream 35% fat;
- - 250 ml of water;
- - 200 g of dark chocolate;
- - 25 pcs. pitted prunes;
- - 3 teaspoons of black tea.
Instructions
Step 1
Brew black tea, soak prunes in it for 4-6 hours. Then discard the prunes in a colander, let the liquid drain completely. Leave 10 larger berries to decorate the finished cake. Chop the rest of the prunes.
Step 2
Combine flour with cocoa, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, salt. Add egg, milk, vegetable oil, vanilla and water. Stir with a mixer at low speed. The dough should turn out to be liquid.
Step 3
Place the dough in a greased pan with butter and flour. Bake for 20-30 minutes at 180 degrees. Chill the finished crust on the kitchen wire shelf.
Step 4
Melt the chocolate in a water bath, heat 200 ml heavy cream, but do not bring it to a boil. Pour hot cream into chocolate in a thin stream, stir, cool to room temperature.
Step 5
You have 100 ml of cream left - beat until firm peaks and mix into the chocolate mass. Add chopped prunes there.
Step 6
Put the sponge cake in a mold, pour the cream mousse on top, carefully spread the whole prunes on top, pressing it a little into the mousse. Put the chocolate cake with prunes in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours, then transfer to a dish, sprinkle with cocoa powder on top.
