You can cook any part of the chicken according to this recipe: it will still work out great, because the highlight of this recipe is the sauce! And very, very light and even, one might say, dietary!
It is necessary
- For 2 servings:
- - 300 g of chicken (for example, thighs);
- - 1.5 cm of ginger root;
- - 2 tbsp. chicken broth;
- - 0.5 red chili;
- - 0.5 tbsp. sunflower oil;
- - 0.5 tbsp. soy sauce;
- - 2 tbsp. cilantro greens;
- - 2 cloves of garlic.
Instructions
Step 1
Remove the skin from the chicken. Peel the ginger root and cut into thin slices. Wrap the chicken and ginger in parchment and place in a double boiler. Cook for 35 minutes.
Step 2
Heat some oil in a thick-walled skillet or wok. While the oil is heating, finely chop the chili and garlic. Remove the pan from the stove and add the spices, stir. Return to heat and cook for 15 seconds, stirring occasionally. Then add the cilantro greens and cook the same amount.
Step 3
Add soy sauce and chicken broth to the pan. You can use whatever juice comes out from steaming the chicken. Stir and remove from heat.
Step 4
Place the cooked chicken on a plate, pour over the hot sauce and serve immediately!
