If you want something new, try cooking spicy pilaf with meat in a slow cooker and find out how an ordinary dish can be turned into an unusual delicacy.
It is necessary
- - Rice (steamed long is better), 2 measuring glasses from a multicooker;
- - Meat (pork or chicken), 300 gr.;
- - Onion, 1 pc.;
- - Carrots, 1 pc.;
- - Bulgarian pepper, 1 pc.;
- - Garlic, 2-3 cloves;
- - Soy sauce, 2-3 tablespoons;
- - Honey, 1 tbsp;
- - Water, 4 measuring glasses from the multicooker;
- - Vegetable oil, 3-4 tbsp. l.;
- - Dried ground ginger, 1-2 gr.;
- - Red pepper, to taste;
- - Salt, to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Finely chop the onion, grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Pour some oil into the multicooker bowl, set the "Fry" or "Bake" mode for 10-15 minutes. Wait until the bowl is fully heated, then place the onions and carrots in it. Grill vegetables for 5-7 minutes. Do not close the lid! Then turn off the mode.
Step 2
Rinse the meat well, remove veins and films (if any) and chop into small cubes. Cut the bell pepper into strips, squeeze the garlic in a garlic press (or cut it into very small pieces).
Step 3
Rinse the rice in warm water in a colander. Place rice, meat, bell peppers and garlic with onions and carrots in a multicooker bowl. Add soy sauce, honey, salt, ginger and red pepper. Stir everything with a special silicone multicooker spatula.
Step 4
Add water and remaining vegetable oil. Close the lid of the multicooker and set the Pilaf mode for 35-40 minutes. If you do not have such a mode, use the "Rice", "Groats" or "Baking" mode. Don't change the time.
Step 5
After the end of the program, open the lid, mix everything thoroughly again, sprinkle the pilaf with fresh herbs. The dish is ready! It can be served on the table. This pilaf will be especially liked by lovers of Asian cuisine and spicy food.
