This low-calorie salad is a great and delicious dinner option. The dish can be served as a refreshing side dish by cooking it without chicken, but adding another apple for a richer salad.
It is necessary
- - 350 g of ready-made chicken meat;
- - 3 sprigs of celery;
- - 20 g green onions;
- - one apple;
- - ½ cup chopped walnuts;
- - several pieces of lettuce leaves: "radicchio", "lollo rosso", green lettuce;
- - 2 radishes;
- - 2 slices of black bread.
- For the sauce:
- - 0.5 cups of fat-free mayonnaise;
- - 0.5 cups sour cream;
- - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of apple juice;
- - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of lemon juice.
Instructions
Step 1
Finely chop celery sprigs, apple and green onions. Cut the radish into slices.
Step 2
For the sauce, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, apple and lemon juices in a small bowl.
Step 3
Cut the cooked chicken into suitable sized pieces. Combine the celery, onion, apple and nuts in a bowl, then add the chicken there. Pour the prepared sauce over the mixture and distribute evenly over the dish.
Step 4
Wash and dry the lettuce leaves and tear into large pieces. Place in a large bowl or on separate plates. Spoon the chicken mixture over the lettuce leaves. Garnish with radish slices and serve with hot bread slices.
