The Sheep is the symbol of 2015. To diversify the New Year's table and show off your creative talents, you can prepare a simple and tasty salad, which, without a doubt, will delight all guests.
It is necessary
- Ingredients:
- • 300 g of meat (beef, pork), you can chicken breast
- • 500 g cauliflower
- • 3 tbsp. tablespoons of canned corn
- • mayonnaise
- • salt, ground black pepper
- • bunch of parsley
- • olives (200 g)
- • red pepper or tomato (for decoration)
- • boiled eggs (2 pcs.)
- Lovers can add 1 piece of pickled cucumber.
- Prepare a large, flat platter for serving.
Instructions
Step 1
Boil meat, eggs and cauliflower (divided into inflorescences). Cut the meat and eggs into small cubes. For decoration, leave a little protein and yolk, 15 olives.
In a bowl, combine corn, eggs, olives, meat, parsley. Season with mayonnaise.
Step 2
Lay out the silhouette of a lamb on a flat dish or plate with the resulting salad. If it doesn't work right away, cut the silhouette out of film or paper, put it on a dish and circle it thinly with mayonnaise. Remove the film, lay out the salad inside the outline in an even layer. You can press down with a spatula or with your hands.
Step 3
Now let's get down to the main part. To the decor. Put the cauliflower inflorescences with short legs on the salad, leaving only the muzzle. Fill it with finely chopped olives (10 pieces)
Step 4
For the ear, we use half an olive. For stability, you can put it on a toothpick. But not necessarily. We collect the eye from the egg white and a slice of olive. We also make nostrils and hooves from olives. Do not forget about the tail from a small inflorescence of cabbage.
Before serving, brush the cabbage with a thin layer of mayonnaise.
