Step 1

Unfold the pita bread and check that there are no holes on it. Melt 20 g of butter in a frying pan and immediately remove it from the heat.

Whisk eggs with baking powder and salt. If you are going to add cheese to the omelette, then you do not need to add salt. Put all the necessary fillers on the pita bread - whatever you want and what is in the refrigerator. Pour the prepared omelette mass.

Step 4

Close the top of the dish with the edge of the lavash that was hanging earlier, try to push its corners under the bottom layer. Place the butter sliced on the plates on top - the remaining 20 g. Cover the pan with a lid and put on the lowest heat.

Step 5

After 10 minutes, turn the pita bread, it should be browned by this time. Fry for another 1 minute, and then turn off the heat and leave in this form to rise under the lid for another 10 minutes. Serving an omelet baked in pita bread is best served hot along with milk or kefir, although it is also delicious when cold.
