For cakes and sweet tarts, fruits are usually cut into pieces of different shapes. But you can deviate from this rule and bake a pie with whole pears pre-cooked in syrup.

- Ingredients for a 23 cm diameter mold:
- For pears in syrup:
- - 6 small pears;
- - 150 gr. Sahara;
- - 150 ml of water.
- For the cake:
- - 270 gr. butter (20 of them for greasing the mold);
- - 220 gr. Sahara;
- - 4 large eggs;
- - 220 gr. flour;
- - a bag of baking powder;
- - 90 gr. ground almonds.
Instructions
Step 1
Peel the pears, but do not remove the twigs - they will serve as a decoration for the cake. Pour water into the dishes for the microwave oven and add sugar, stir, lay out the pears, cover the bowl with cling film and send it to the microwave for 12 minutes, setting the power to 800 watts. You can boil pears in a saucepan over low heat, but in this case, the cooking time will be 30 minutes.
Step 2
Grease the baking dish with butter and sprinkle with flour. Preheat the oven to 180C.
Step 3
Mix melted butter with sugar in a bowl. Add eggs one by one, mix and add sifted flour with baking powder in two passes. Finally, pour the ground almonds into the dough and mix everything thoroughly.
Step 4
We spread the dough into a mold and gently press the cooled pears soaked in syrup into it in a circle.
Step 5
We put the dish in the oven, reduce the heat to 170C and bake the cake for an hour. We check the readiness with a wooden toothpick, if necessary, increase the time in the oven by 5-7 minutes. You can use a little powdered sugar for decoration.
