Baked trout is a win-win dish that is easy and quick to prepare. In addition, this delicious fish does not need to be ennobled with anything, but still we will cook it with thyme and oranges, and serve it with carrots.

- - 1 carrot;
- - 1 orange;
- - thyme, salt, ground pepper.

Rinse the trout fillet under cool water, rub with pepper and salt.

Peel one medium carrot, cut into cubes. Peel the orange, remove all films. Do not rush to throw away the zest - cut it into thin strips. Also cut the orange slices with a sharp knife so that they do not lose a lot of juice.

Put half the orange zest and carrots in a heatproof dish, sprinkle with thyme. Place a slice of fish fillet on top. If the piece is large, you can cut it into portions. Place the slices of orange, the rest of the zest on the fish and sprinkle with the thyme again.
Step 4
Bake the trout on a carrot pillow for 25-30 minutes at an oven temperature of 200 degrees. The fish fillet is cooked quickly, during this time the carrots will not have time to become soft to the end and will crunch pleasantly. Serve hot.
