Cheese buns are great to use as breakfast or, for example, as an appetizer on a festive table. In any case, this dish will be in place.
It is necessary
- - flour - 1, 25 glasses;
- - kefir - 0.5 cups;
- - butter - 1 tablespoon;
- - hard cheese - 120 g;
- - sour cream - 3 tablespoons;
- - baking powder for dough - 0.5 teaspoon;
- - salt - a pinch.
Instructions
Step 1
Sift the following through a sieve: wheat flour, salt, and baking powder, that is, baking powder. Mix all of the above ingredients in one clean bowl.
Step 2
Soften the butter and place in a free deep bowl. Then add kefir and a dry mixture of salt, baking powder and wheat flour to it one by one. Mixing everything thoroughly together, you will get a rather soft dough for future cheese buns.
Step 3
Put the resulting soft dough on the work surface and turn it into a layer in the form of a rectangle 5 millimeters thick.
Step 4
With the cheese, do the following: chop it with a fine grater and put it on a rolled rectangular layer, spreading it over the entire surface in an even layer. Roll the dough so that you have a roll. Cut it with a knife in the form of slices, the thickness of which is approximately equal to 2-3 centimeters.
Step 5
On a baking sheet covered with parchment and oiled, place the sliced slices with cheese at some distance from each other. Lubricate the surface of each of them with sour cream. If you wish, you can sprinkle future cheese buns on top, for example, sesame seeds or chopped nuts.
Step 6
Send the dish to bake in the oven at a temperature of 180 degrees for about 20 minutes. Lubricate the baking surface with butter. Cheese buns are ready! Serve warm.
