These cakes with a thick layer of chocolate are somewhat similar to muffins, but more tender and airy.
It is necessary
- Cakes:
- - 190 g flour;
- - 1, 5 tsp baking powder;
- - 100 g of dark chocolate;
- - 100 g of butter;
- - 3 eggs;
- - 150 g of walnuts.
- Glaze:
- - 200 g of dark chocolate;
- - 60 g butter;
- - 100 ml of milk.
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to a temperature of 190 degrees. Grease the form with butter and sprinkle with flour.
Step 2
Coarsely chop the walnuts with a knife.
Step 3
Break the chocolate into pieces, combine with butter and melt in a water bath. Cool to room temperature.
Step 4
Beat the sugar and eggs separately for 5-7 minutes at high speed. Sift the flour separately with baking powder and add to the eggs in two stages, setting the mixer to medium speed.
Step 5
Add cooled chocolate to the rest of the ingredients and stir until smooth. Add nuts and stir to distribute evenly. Place the dough in a mold and place in a hot oven for about 45 minutes.
Step 6
For the glaze, break the chocolate into pieces and heat with milk in a water bath until the chocolate dissolves. Chop the butter into pieces and add to the chocolate mixture. Stir everything until smooth.
Step 7
Cool the glaze a little and cover the cooled crust with it, without removing it from the mold. If desired, you can decorate with halves of walnuts and put in the refrigerator for several hours to freeze the glaze. Cut into portions and serve.
