Cutlets are a versatile meat dish that will always come in handy during lunch or dinner. And if you add a piece of cheese to them, then the usual taste will sparkle with new colors. The cutlets are very appetizing with a crispy crust. But as soon as you bite them, you will immediately feel the aromatic cheese filling. They should be especially liked by children, who constantly have to be persuaded to eat. And here, inside the cutlet, such an unusual surprise will await them.

It is necessary

  • - minced meat (beef or pork and beef) - 0.5 kg;
  • - onions - 2 pcs.;
  • - milk - 100 ml;
  • - hard cheese - 100 g;
  • - bread (loaf) - 2 slices;
  • - bread crumbs;
  • - ground black pepper;
  • - salt;
  • - sunflower oil for frying;
  • - frying pan.

Instructions

Step 1

Peel the onions, cut into 4 parts and pass through a meat grinder. It can also be grated or cut into small cubes.

Step 2

Pour the milk into a small deep bowl and dip the pieces of loaf into it. Swap them after a minute so that both pieces are saturated evenly.

Step 3

Transfer the minced meat to a bowl. Add chopped onions to it. Now take pieces of loaf and chop them to meat and onions. You do not need to squeeze them out beforehand. At the end, add black pepper, salt and mix everything.

Step 4

Cut the hard cheese into small cubes. Now form a flat small cake from the minced meat, put a handful of cheese cubes on top of it and cover with the same cake to make a cutlet. In this case, it is better to smooth the edges from the sides so that there are no gaps left, and the cheese is inside the meat. Use up all the minced meat and cheese in the same way. You should get finished 8-10 products.

Step 5

Put the pan on the stove, pour in the sunflower oil and heat it properly. Meanwhile, pour the bread crumbs into a bowl and place them next to you for easy handling. Then roll as many cutlets in them as will fit in the pan and lay them to fry. In this case, the temperature will need to be reduced to an average value.

Step 6

As soon as the bottom is covered with a crispy crust (after 7-8 minutes), the cutlets will need to be turned over to the other side and fried until tender.

Step 7

Put ready-made cutlets with cheese filling on a dish, and then arrange in portions and serve with any side dish, for example, with mashed potatoes and a salad of fresh vegetables or pickles.
