"Buttons" are homemade shortbread cookies, which are quite easy to prepare. It is remembered for a long time due to its unusual shape and pleasant taste!
It is necessary
- - 200 g flour
- - 100 g butter
- - 80 g granulated sugar
- - 2 egg yolks
- - 2 tsp vanilla sugar
- - 2 tsp cocoa powder
Instructions
Step 1
Grind the yolks with granulated sugar and vanilla sugar. Add oil to the resulting mixture and mix well.
Step 2
Add flour in small portions, stirring thoroughly with a spoon.
Step 3
Divide the resulting dough into two equal parts. We put one of them in a separate container, making a lump from the dough.
Step 4
Add cocoa to the second half of the dough. Stir the dough with a spoon for good distribution. We make a lump from the resulting dough.
Step 5
We send both lumps of dough to the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Step 6
Roll out the light dough into a layer about 6-7 mm thick. Using a mold (an inverted coffee cup, glass is suitable), cut out mugs from the dough.
Step 7
Then in the middle on each of the circles we make a round dent (a plastic bottle cap is suitable). We don't cut through the dough to the end!
Step 8
Using a juice tube, match or other suitable object, make two or four through holes in the middle. (like a button).
Step 9
Remains of light dough must be molded into a ball again, rolled out and cut out "buttons".
Step 10
We carry out buttons from dark dough according to the same algorithm. Watch step 6-9.
Step 11
Prying the cookies with a spatula, transfer the "buttons" to a baking sheet covered with baking paper.
We put the baking sheet in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. We bake for about 20 minutes.
