This dish is very simple, but deliciously extraordinary. A crispy ring snack will not sit on the table, but will disappear just instantly. The ingredients for the dish are available to everyone.

It is necessary

  • - 1 kg squid
  • - one and a half cups flour for breading
  • - 2 tsp paprika
  • - 1 tsp. baking powder
  • - 3 eggs
  • - 3 tbsp. l. milk
  • - salt
  • - half a liter of vegetable oil for deep fat
  • For the sauce:
  • - 300 g of yoghurt without additives
  • - half a lime
  • - 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • - a few drops of Tabasco
  • - a pinch of hot pepper
  • - cilantro
  • - salt

Instructions

Step 1

Break the pre-washed eggs into a bowl, add milk to them. Beat the egg-milk mass a little with a whisk, lightly salt.

Step 2

Take another bowl, pour flour, baking powder, salt, paprika into it, mix everything well.

Step 3

Defrost the squid at room temperature, rinse thoroughly, remove the film from them, then cut into rings. If there are ready-made rings on the market, you can use them right away.

Step 4

Prepare the sauce in advance. To do this, put yogurt in a bowl, squeeze the juice of half a lime into it, add Worcestershire sauce, tabasco, everything is salted and sprinkled with pepper, then mixed thoroughly. If someone likes a hot sauce, then you can add ground chili. Finely chop the cilantro and add to the sauce.

Step 5

Dip the squid rings in the egg mixture, shake off excess and roll in flour. Rings breaded in this way are laid out on a plank in about 10 pieces.

Step 6

Heat the oil very well in a skillet over medium heat. You can start frying when the oil starts to click a little. There should be enough oil for the rings to float in it. Immerse the rings in oil. Since the top of the rings still floats, they need to be turned over after 30 seconds, then fry for another 10 seconds.

Step 7

Prepare a plate of paper towels or paper towels in advance to remove excess oil. Catch the finished fried rings and put on a plate. Then immediately start frying the second batch.

Step 8

Serve the finished rings with the sauce.
