It is necessary
- - Sweet apples - 4 pieces;
- - Cookies "Savoyardi" - 160 g;
- - Butter - 80 g;
- - Favorite strong alcohol - 40 ml;
- - Toast bread - 1 slice;
- - Sugar - 80 g;
- - Water - 40 ml;
- - Favorite alcohol - 40 ml;
- - Vanilla - 1 pod;
- - Cinnamon - 1 stick;
- - Citrus zest - 1 tablespoon
Instructions
Step 1
Grease a baking dish with melted butter and pour sugar into it, filling to the brim. And then we pour it back: our goal is to cover the inner surface of the mold with a layer of sugar.
Step 2
We cook the syrup: heat the water with sugar in a small saucepan, add alcohol and cinnamon with vanilla to it. Bring to a boil and remove from heat. Cool slightly. Put the Savoyardi in a container and pour over the syrup to soak the cookies.
Step 3
Peel and core the apples. Cut into medium cubes. We drown butter in a frying pan, put apples in it and fry, adding alcohol, a pinch of vanilla and cinnamon. You can add some more sugar to taste. Simmer for about 10 minutes over medium heat, until half cooked.
Step 4
The shape is very tight, leaving no empty spaces, lay out with cookies: we start from the bottom, and then the sides. Put the apples in a cookie basket, carefully cut off the excess cookies around the edges. Put a slice of toast bread on top. Fill the remaining space with scraps of cookies: the apples must be completely covered!
Step 5
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Lubricate our charlotte on top with melted butter and send it to the oven for 40 minutes. Bon Appetit!
