Delicate and delicious dessert, especially for lovers of citrus fruits, prepared according to Irish folk cuisine recipes.
It is necessary
- - 2 pcs. oranges;
- - 1, 5-2 tbsp. tablespoons of sugar;
- - 3 pcs. yolks;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of port wine (egg liqueur);
- - 50 g butter;
- - 200 ml of cream (33%);
Instructions
Step 1
Cut off 1/3 of the tops from the oranges and remove the pulp from the remaining 2/3 to make orange cups.
Step 2
Squeeze the juice from the pulp and tops, rub the zest from the rinds and from the tops of the oranges. Mix orange juice with sugar and yolks. Putting the orange mass in a water bath, warm it up, stirring constantly, until it thickens slightly.
Step 3
Place a saucepan with the mixture in a container of cold water and cool, stirring occasionally, until warm. Then add the port (egg liqueur) and grated zest. Rub softened butter in small pieces into the fruit mixture.
Step 4
Whip the cream and pour it into the bulk, mix well. Divide the prepared mass into orange cups, garnish with zest. Place the orange "suns" in the refrigerator for a few hours to harden.
