Original caramel tea cookies will delight you with their rich aroma and delicate taste. Cookies acquire a special aroma due to the addition of vanilla and cognac to the dough.

It is necessary

  • - 200 g sesame seeds;
  • - 180 g of wheat flour;
  • - 150 g brown sugar;
  • - 60 g butter;
  • - 20 g of corn flour;
  • - 4 tbsp. spoons of brandy;
  • - 1 egg;
  • - 1 tsp baking powder;
  • - vanilla.

Instructions

Step 1

Take a saucepan with a thick bottom, put butter and brown sugar in it, put on low heat. Add the sesame seeds, cook until golden brown, stirring occasionally, until the butter is completely melted and the sugar dissolves in it.

Step 2

As soon as the mass in the saucepan becomes homogeneous and pleasant golden brown, pour in 4 tablespoons of cognac.

Step 3

Separately mix the sifted flour with the baking powder, add vanillin to taste (it is only needed to add flavor to the finished baked goods). Transfer the flour mixture to a saucepan, stir immediately and remove from the stove.

Step 4

Cool the mixture slightly and beat in one chicken egg. Immediately drive the egg into the hot mass is impossible - it will curdle!

Step 5

From the resulting dough, mold about 24 balls. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the balls of dough on it at a distance from each other. Give the balls a flatter shape - you can press them down with a fork, then they will have patterned stripes.

Step 6

Bake caramel sesame cookies in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. 10 minutes is quite enough - do not overexpose the cookies in the oven, otherwise they will become excessively dry and burn around the edges. Ready-made caramel cookies can be stored for several days, retaining their taste.
