Sugar glazed chicken is an unusual and amazing dish. Thanks to the special cooking method, chicken meat is very tender and tasty. The dish is perfectly complemented by pickled onion rings.
It is necessary
- - chicken meat (thighs, drumsticks or wings) - 0.5 kg;
- - onions - 2 heads;
- - sesame seeds - 1 tbsp. l.;
- - garlic - 3 cloves;
- - sugar - 4 tbsp. l.;
- - vegetable oil - 3 tbsp. l.;
- - lemon - 1 pc.;
- - mustard - 1 tsp;
- - olive oil - 4 tbsp. l.;
- - salt - 1 tsp;
- - ground black pepper - 1 tsp.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse chicken meat with water. Sprinkle sugar on all sides of each piece of meat.
Step 2
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and fry the chicken on each side until golden brown (half cooked). Cool the meat slightly.
Step 3
Peel and chop the garlic. Combine salt, black pepper and garlic.
Step 4
Rub each piece of chicken with a mixture of salt, garlic and pepper. Place the chicken in a greased baking dish. It must be laid in one layer. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Put in the oven and bake at 220 degrees for 30-35 minutes (until tender).
Step 5
Cut the onion into neat thin slices.
Step 6
Squeeze the juice out of the lemon. Combine mustard, lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper. Pour the marinade on the onion rings and leave for 10-15 minutes.
Step 7
Put the finished chicken on a serving plate, put a few rings of pickled onions on top. Garnish with fresh herbs. The dish is ready.
