Klaisha is a date paste cookie, an Arabic dish. The cookies are very tasty and tender. Airy and amazing dough. The smell of cardamom is a little specific, and date paste is very common in the East.

- - 1 egg

- - 1 tsp. cardamom

Step 1
Prepare the date paste first. To do this, take soft dates, they are sweet, so you do not need to add granulated sugar. Wash the dates well, remove the peels, stalks and seeds.
Step 2
You need 2 cups of dates, mince them to make a paste, skip 2-3 times if necessary. Add 3 tablespoons to the paste. vegetable oil, 2 tbsp. sesame seeds, 1 teaspoon cinnamon and knead the paste well so that the dates absorb the oil. You can also buy date paste at the store.
Step 3
Then dissolve yeast and granulated sugar in 1/4 cup warm water. Mix flour in a bowl, 1 tsp. cardamom, baking powder, salt. Combine flour and yeast, add vegetable and ghee.
Step 4
Knead the dough, add the remaining 3/4 cup water in portions. The dough will be tender and will not stick to your hands.
Step 5
Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Spread the date paste over the rectangle. Form a roll.
Step 6
Place the roll in a cold place for 30 minutes to make it easier to cut. Use a knife to cut the roll into pieces and place them on a baking sheet with lined parchment paper soaked in vegetable oil. Brush the cookies with an egg.
