- -2.5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

- -3 tablespoons of sugar
- -¼ teaspoon salt
- -7 tablespoons cold butter, cut open
- -3-6 tablespoons of ice water
- For lubrication:
- - 1 egg yolk with 1 teaspoon of water - beat together
Instructions
Step 1
Start by making the filling. Toss apples, sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and walnuts in a large bowl. Stir until the ingredients are evenly distributed. Put the whole mass in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.
Step 2
Prepare your sprinkles. Combine flour, oats, sugar, cinnamon, salt and nuts. In a large bowl, stir together with the ghee. Set aside.
Step 3
Start making the dough. Combine flour, sugar and salt. Shape the dough. Roll it into a circle on a lightly floured piece of parchment paper. Transfer the dough along with the parchment paper to a baking sheet.
Step 4
Cut apples into small pieces and place in the middle of your dough. Tuck the edges of the pie towards the center to prevent your filling from falling off while cooking. Using a cooking brush, cover the dough with the egg and water mixture. Sprinkle the mixture from step 1 over the cake.
Step 5
Bake at 375 º F for 1 hour. Let the pie cool before serving.
