  • - kefir - 500 ml;
  • - wheat flour - 900 g;
  • - eggs - 2 pcs.;
  • - sunflower oil - 0.5 teaspoon;
  • - soda - 0.5 teaspoon;
  • - mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons;
  • - sugar - 0.5 teaspoon;
  • - salt - 0.5 teaspoon.
  • For filling;
  • - White cabbage;
  • - onions - 1 pc.;
  • - salt.

Instructions

Step 1

Pouring kefir into a separate and rather deep cup, mix with the following ingredients: soda, granulated sugar, raw chicken eggs, as well as mayonnaise, salt and sunflower oil. Into the resulting mixture in several steps, add wheat flour, having previously sifted it through a sieve at least 2 times. After kneading soft and elastic dough, wrap it in a plastic bag or cling film. In this form, keep the dough warm for at least 2 hours.

Step 2

With the cabbage, do the following: remove the top sheets from it, and chop the rest finely and knead them lightly with your palms. Combine chopped cabbage with onions cut into small cubes. Simmer this vegetable mixture until fully cooked, remembering to stir it from time to time.

Step 3

Divide the finished dough in such a way that you get many pieces of the same size. Turn each of them into a ball, then roll it out with a rolling pin into a small cake.

Step 4

Place a small amount of cabbage filling in the middle of the formed cakes. Secure the edges of the dough so that you end up with donuts.

Step 5

Pour a sufficiently large amount of deep-fat oil into a saucepan or cauldron and fry in it, after heating it, future donuts on each side.

Step 6

Remove the fried balls from the oil and place them on a paper towel. Thanks to this, excess fat will drain from them. Cabbage donuts on kefir are ready!
