Orange pie is perfect with your morning coffee or tea. It is unusually sweet and crumbles gently in the mouth. It can be cooked in just 1 hour.

- For the cake: 6 small eggs, 280 grams of sugar, 225 grams of ghee, vanilla, 230 grams of flour with mixed yeast, 160 grams of ground almonds.
- For syrup 180 grams of sugar, 2 or 3 oranges, 100 ml of water.
Instructions
Step 1
Start by cutting the oranges into thin slices. Heat sugar and water in a saucepan. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. Then add the oranges and leave to sugar for 10 minutes.
Step 2
Prepare the syrup: Combine 180 grams of sugar, 3 chopped oranges and 100 ml of water. Heat lightly on the stove and set aside.
Step 3
Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Using a brush, brush over a baking sheet and cover with parchment paper. Arrange the orange slices in a circle on a baking sheet.
Step 4
Use a whisk or mixer to beat the eggs, sugar and vanilla together. When foam forms, add sifted flour, melted butter and almonds. Using a brush or spoon, spread this mixture over the oranges on the baking sheet.
Step 5
Bake the pie for 1 hour at 360 degrees.
Step 6
After cooking, remove the cake and let cool slightly. Cut into wedges and serve with hot coffee with cream.
