The pie is quite simple, but it looks and tastes surprisingly tender and festive. How to make an airy plum cake from yeast dough with crispy topping?
It is necessary
- - 700 g flour;
- - 1 cube of fresh yeast;
- - 230 g of sugar;
- - 250 ml of warm milk;
- - 1 teaspoon of salt;
- - 200 g butter;
- - 1 egg;
- - 1kg plums;
- - 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon;
- - 2 teaspoons of grated lemon zest.
Instructions
Step 1
Sift 500 g of flour into a large bowl with a slide, make a depression in the middle. Pour in yeast diluted in milk with 1 teaspoon of sugar. Cover the bowl with a napkin and leave in a warm place for 15 minutes.
Step 2
Add 70 g sugar, salt, egg, lemon zest and 80 g softened butter to a bowl.
Knead the dough and let it rise (1 hour).
Step 3
Wash the plums, cut into halves and remove the seeds.
Put the yeast dough in a square baking dish (27x27 cm). From above, distribute the halves of the drain with a cut up.
Step 4
For sprinkling, combine remaining flour, sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Melt the remaining butter, add to the flour mixture and stir until a crumbly dough is obtained. Sprinkle them with plums and bake for 45-50 minutes.
