Step 1
If you wish, you can roast the beans before making coffee. To do this, spread the grains in a hot skillet and stir constantly with a spoon until they turn brown (frying duration - 5-15 minutes). The roasting time depends entirely on your preferences and tastes.
Step 2
Grind the beans in a coffee grinder, but not to a powdery mass, they must be crushed, then the drink will have a richer taste. If you do not have a coffee grinder available, then you can crush the beans in a mortar.
Step 3
Pour soft purified water into a Turk and put on a low heat. You will need about 10-15 grams of green coffee beans and 150 milliliters of water to make one serving of coffee. Without bringing the water to a boil, add the ground coffee, continue heating, stirring occasionally with a spoon. Do not cover the turk with a lid. When boiling, foam will appear on the surface of the water, turn off the heat.
Step 4
Green coffee is ready to drink, strain it through a strainer into a glass. The prepared coffee drink has a green tint and is significantly different in taste from coffee with roasted beans. Add cinnamon, ginger, or cloves to the drink if desired.
Step 5
To make green coffee in a French press, pour boiling water over the ground beans. Infuse the coffee for fifteen minutes, then press on the rod and lower the filter down to separate the coffee grounds from the drink. It remains only to pour the green coffee into cups and add sugar if desired.
