Fish sticks are very tender and crispy. They go well not only with herbs, but also with properly prepared cheese sauce.
Ingredients:
- Fish fillet - 400 g;
- Potato tubers - 5 pcs;
- Hard cheese - 120 g;
- Chicken eggs - 3 pcs;
- Parsley - ½ bunch;
- Milk - 80 ml;
- Butter - 5 teaspoons;
- Breadcrumbs - 70 g;
- Soy sauce - 4 teaspoons;
- Flour - 20 g.
Preparation:
- Prepared fish must be cleaned, cut and washed in running water.
- Put in a saucepan with slightly salted water, cook until cooked over medium heat. Carefully cut the boiled fish into fillets, which are then chopped into pieces.
- Pass the hard cheese through a fine grater.
- Sort the green parsley, wash and chop finely.
- Wash the potatoes, peel them and boil until cooked in salted water. Thoroughly crush the finished tubers and season with black pepper and salt to taste.
- Put pieces of fish fillet, prepared in advance, into a deep container, put mashed potatoes, chopped parsley, chopped hard cheese there, season with a small amount of salt and pepper. Break one chicken egg into a mass, mix everything thoroughly.
- Divide the minced fish into small balls of the same size, roll not very thin sticks out of each, then roll them in beaten eggs, and then breadcrumbs for breading. Put the workpiece in the freezer for 15 minutes.
- Pre-grease a baking dish with the required amount of butter, put fish sticks on it, send it to an oven preheated to 200 degrees for half an hour.
- Pour milk into a saucepan, add the remains of grated cheese, butter, wheat flour and soy sauce to it. Cook the sauce over low heat for about 8 minutes.
- Cool the dish before serving, pour over the prepared cheese sauce and decorate with sprigs of green parsley.
