Julien is a traditional French dish made with mushrooms. But if you want to diversify your holiday table, you can also make julienne from shrimp.
It is necessary
-
- Fresh frozen shrimps - 1.5 kilograms;
- onions - 2 pieces;
- garlic - 2 cloves;
- sour cream -300 grams;
- flour - 3 tablespoons;
- cheese - 300 grams;
- salt to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse freshly frozen shrimp thoroughly, cover with water, salt, put on low heat and cook until tender. The approximate cooking time is 30-40 minutes.
Step 2
Remove the shrimp from heat, drain the water, rinse the shrimp, let cool and carefully peel off the shells.
Step 3
Finely chop the onion and garlic and fry in a pan in vegetable oil until light golden brown. Do not fry the vegetables for too long, or the dish will taste a little bitter.
Step 4
Pour the shrimps to the vegetables, add flour, cover with sour cream and simmer over low heat for 15-20 minutes. You can add a little water to prevent the sauce from getting too thick.
Step 5
Put the julienne in cocotte makers, sprinkle with grated cheese and place in an oven preheated to 180-200 degrees. Bake until the cheese is completely melted.
Step 6
Serve hot julienne to the table. Put the cocotte maker with julienne on a small plate covered with a carved napkin, and put a paper papillote on the handle of the cocotte maker.
