Hot honey tea will not only warm you in cold weather, but will also have a preventive effect on the body. The sweet taste and spicy aroma will give strength even after a hard day at work.
It is necessary
- - 150 g honey
- - 2 tbsp. water
- - 100 g sugar
- - cinnamon
- - dried herbs (chamomile, linden, St. John's wort)
- - ginger root
- - black peppercorns
- - mint leaves
Instructions
Step 1
In one container, boil honey, diluted with one glass of water. In another bowl, bring sugar to a boil with the same amount of liquid.
Step 2
Combine both mixtures and cook over low heat for 5-7 minutes. The mixture should acquire a fairly thick consistency.
Step 3
Pour 1.5 liters of water into a saucepan. Add a few pinches of St. John's wort, mint, cloves, chamomile, a small piece of ginger root, black peppercorns, and ground cinnamon for flavor. Strain the finished broth. Add the resulting mixture to your honey drink to taste.
Step 4
A spicy honey-based drink can be made sweeter with just a little decoction. If you like more spicy flavors, you can increase the amount.
