And one of the ways is to make pork kebab with mineral water. Thanks to gas bubbles, the spices penetrate into the meat as deeply as possible, which gives it a richer taste and softness. In addition, unlike other additives, mineral water does not affect the taste of pork itself at all.

It is necessary

  • - pork pulp with fat layers (for example, neck) - 2 kg;
  • - onions - 3 pcs.;
  • - carbonated mineral water - 2-3 liters;
  • - Bay leaf;
  • - ground black pepper;
  • - red hot pepper;
  • - ground coriander;
  • - salt;
  • - vegetable oil - 100 ml (optional);
  • - skewers.

Instructions

Step 1

Rinse the pork under running water, dry and cut into pieces with a side of about 5 cm. Then put them in a bowl, add ground coriander, a few pinches of red hot pepper, black ground pepper, salt, and then mix everything well with your hands so that each piece is covered with spices.

Step 2

Peel the onions and chop into thick rings or half rings, and then put them on the meat and mix well again. After that, put the bay leaf deep into the pieces of pork. And then pour enough mineral water into the bowl so that it completely covers every piece of meat. Once all the preparatory work is completed, cover the bowl with a lid or cling film and refrigerate overnight (12-15 hours).

When the time is up, drain all the liquid from the bowl. Remove the pieces of meat and place them on skewers. If desired, you can place small tomatoes or onion rings between them. After that, the kebab can be started to grill on the grill.

Step 4

If you have meat without fat layers, then for more juiciness you can add a little vegetable oil to it. An hour before the end of the marinating period, drain the mineral water from the bowl. Add half a cup of butter and stir in the meat. Thanks to this simple trick, lean pork will turn out to be much juicier.
