Verguns "Derevenskie" are delicious and sweet pastries for tea. The dough was brought without yeast, and this is a huge plus. Even nutritionists recommend that if baking, then yeast-free. And the second advantage is that it is very fast to cook verguns. They turn out to be soft and fragrant. The smell of fresh baked goods will gather all your household at the table.
It is necessary
- For the test:
- - 1 liter of varenets;
- - 3 tbsp. tablespoons of sugar;
- - 3 eggs;
- - 1 teaspoon of baking soda;
- - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of butter;
- - flour;
- - vegetable oil;
- - vanillin;
- - salt.
- For powdered sugar:
- - 1 cup of sugar.
Instructions
Step 1
We start the dough. Pour varenets into a bowl, add soda, salt, sugar and vanillin. Leave on for 20 minutes.
Step 2
After 20 minutes add eggs, butter, flour and knead the dough. Place in a plastic bag for 30 minutes.
Prepare the icing sugar. Grind sugar in a coffee grinder.
Step 3
Divide the dough into 4 pieces. Roll out into layers. Carefully cut into diamonds with a pastry knife. Roll up like brushwood.
Step 4
Heat oil in a brazier. Dip the prepared dough rhombuses into boiling oil. Turn over if necessary.
Step 5
Sprinkle the finished verguns with icing sugar and place on a dish. Serve with lemon tea.
