Outwardly, verguns look like brushwood, but still this is a slightly different dish. I propose to cook such a delicious delicacy on kefir. Verguns cooked in this way are very fluffy and tender.
It is necessary
- - flour - 0.5 kg;
- - kefir 3, 2% - 500 ml;
- - eggs - 1-2 pcs.;
- - salt - 1 teaspoon;
- - sugar - 2-3 tablespoons;
- - baking powder for dough - 1 teaspoon;
- - powdered sugar - for sprinkling.
Instructions
Step 1
After sifting the wheat flour into a sufficiently deep dish, make a small indentation in it. Introduce a raw chicken egg into this depression along with granulated sugar, baking powder, that is, baking powder and salt.
Step 2
After taking the kefir out of the refrigerator, give it a little time so that it warms up to room temperature, then gradually add it to the bowl with the flour mixture. Mix everything well so that you end up with a homogeneous mass.
Step 3
Knead the dough out of the resulting mass - it should be dense enough, but in no case tight. Then set it aside for about 10 minutes. After the time has elapsed, divide it into 2 parts and roll each with a rolling pin into a layer 1 centimeter thick.
Step 4
After dividing the rolled layers into strips, cut each one into 2 more pieces so that you get small diamonds. Make a hole in the center of the cutouts and thread one end through it. Do these steps with the entire test.
Step 5
After heating a sufficiently large amount of sunflower oil in a frying pan, fry the resulting figures on it on each side until golden brown. Verguns on kefir are ready! Sprinkle them with powdered sugar if desired.
