  • - 150 g flour;
  • - 1 tsp baking powder (with a slide);
  • - 1 tbsp. matcha green tea powder (with a slide).

Instructions

Step 1

The butter and eggs for this cake should be at room temperature, so remove them from the refrigerator beforehand.

Step 2

Preheat the oven to 165 degrees Celsius. Prepare the mold by lightly greasing it with oil (if you use silicone and are sure of its quality, then this step can be skipped).

Step 3

Whisk the softened butter in a processor with added sugar for about 5-6 minutes into a light creamy mass. Then add the eggs one at a time, mixing the ingredients thoroughly each time until smooth.

Step 4

Mix dry ingredients separately: sift flour and baking powder into a deep, spacious bowl.

Step 5

Turn on the mixer to a slow setting and gradually add the flour mixture to the bowl with the butter and egg mixture. After adding all the flour, knead the dough for another 2-3 minutes.

Step 6

Dilute matcha tea with a little warm water. Divide the dough into two equal parts and add diluted tea to one of them.

Step 7

Put the dough in layers in the prepared form: 2 tablespoons of the white mixture, 2 tablespoons of the green mixture, and so on, until all the dough is finished. Place in a hot oven for about an hour. The toothpick will come out dry from the finished cake.
