New Year's chocolate cake is a delicious and exquisite delicacy that will truly decorate the festive table and will not leave indifferent even the most demanding gourmets. This dessert will be especially appreciated by true connoisseurs of chocolate.
It is necessary
- To prepare the dough:
- - 200 g of dark chocolate;
- - 200 g of butter;
- - 200 g flour;
- - 10 eggs.
- To prepare the cream:
- - 120 g icing sugar;
- - 400 g of cottage cheese;
- - 80 g of condensed milk;
- - 1 tbsp. spoonful of liquor.
Instructions
Step 1
First, preheat the oven to a temperature of 180 degrees.
Step 2
While the oven is warming up, proceed to the preparation of the cake dough. To do this, place 2 bars of dark chocolate, previously broken into pieces, and 200 g of butter in a small enamel pan, put it in a water bath and cook until the chocolate-creamy mass is completely melted.
Step 3
Then we take 10 eggs and separate the whites from the yolks. Beat the yolks with 100 g of granulated sugar until a homogeneous thick mass is achieved, then gently mix the melted chocolate into it. Gradually add 200 g of sifted flour to the resulting mixture, stirring constantly.
Step 4
In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites with 100 g of sugar until smooth, then gently mix the dough into them.
Step 5
Grease two round baking tins with a diameter of about 20 cm with a piece of butter and sprinkle with a small amount of cocoa powder. Pour the prepared dough into molds and set to bake for 40 minutes.
Step 6
While the cakes are being prepared, you can start preparing a delicate cream for the New Year's cake. To do this, beat 220 g of slightly softened butter with 120 g of powdered sugar until a fluffy mass is reached, after which we add 80 g of condensed milk and 1 tbsp. a spoonful of liquor (this should be done in small portions, stirring constantly). Then we rub 400 g of cottage cheese through a sieve and add it to the butter cream, whisking the mass with a mixer.
Step 7
Cut the finished cooled cakes horizontally into two parts of the same size. Lubricate the distance between the cakes and the sides of the cake with butter cream. Top of the dessert for the New Year's table can be sprinkled with grated chocolate, cocoa powder, chopped nuts or coconut.
