If you are a fan of Korean salads, but you do not always have the opportunity to buy them ready-made, then you can try to learn how to cook them yourself. In fact, this is not difficult - you need a simple set of products and a minimum of time. Cucumber and meat salad does not include many ingredients, and the successful combination of beef with vegetables makes this appetizer nutritious and delicious.

It is necessary

  • - beef pulp - 350 g;
  • - medium-sized cucumbers -3 pcs.;
  • - onions - 1 pc.;
  • - bell pepper (red or yellow) - 1 pc.;
  • - garlic - 2 cloves;
  • - coriander (dried cilantro) - 1 tsp;
  • - soy sauce - 3 tbsp. l.;
  • - apple cider vinegar - 2 tbsp. l.;
  • - red hot pepper - 2-3 pinches;
  • - sunflower oil - 3 tbsp. l;
  • - sugar - a few pinches;
  • - salt - 1 tsp.

Instructions

Step 1

Rinse the meat under running water and cut into the thinnest possible strips. If the beef was in the freezer, defrost it naturally first, but so that it remains firm. In this state, cutting it thinly will not be difficult at all.

Step 2

Cut off the ends of the cucumbers and divide them in half lengthwise. Cut both halves across. And now chop each resulting quarter into 3 cubes. After that, put them in a bowl, add salt, mix well and leave for 15 minutes to let the juice stand out from the cucumbers.

Step 3

Peel the onions and garlic. Cut the onion into half rings, and pass the garlic through a press. When the cucumbers are ready, squeeze them out to drain the excess liquid. Grind coriander seeds in a mortar, and then pour them over the cucumbers. Add red hot peppers, minced garlic and sugar.

Step 4

Now take a frying pan, heat it, pour in sunflower oil and heat it. Then lay out the chopped meat and fry until golden brown. Then add the onions and sauté until golden brown. Now pour in the soy sauce, stir and cook everything together for about 5 minutes, lowering the temperature slightly, until the beef is done.

Step 5

When the meat is ready, transfer the contents of the pan to the cucumbers. Peel the red (yellow) bell pepper from the seeds and remove the stalk. Rinse it, cut into small pieces and place with beef, onions and cucumbers. Pour everything with apple cider vinegar, mix and leave to soak for 5 minutes. This appetizer can be served both warm and cold.
