Chicken legs in dough is not only a hearty and simple dish, it also looks very original. Such a dish will interest even a child with its appearance and will not leave anyone indifferent. After all, inside the dough bag there is not only a chicken leg, but also a delicious filling of potatoes and mushrooms!
It is necessary
- - 500 g yeast puff pastry;
- - 6 chicken legs;
- - 500 g of potatoes;
- - 300 g of mushrooms;
- - 200 g onions;
- - 50 g of oil;
- - 50 g of milk;
- - salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Boil the potatoes until cooked, add butter, pour in a little warmed milk, salt and chop.
Step 2
Finely chop the onion and mushrooms. Fry the chopped onions in oil until a delicate golden hue appears. Add mushrooms only after the onions are fully cooked and fry until all the liquid has evaporated.
Step 3
Mix crushed potatoes and fried mushrooms with onions, cool.
Step 4
Salt and pepper the chicken drumstick and fry in a skillet with vegetable oil until cooked through (about 20 minutes).
Step 5
Roll out the dough (the layer thickness should be about 3 mm), cut into squares, put them in a mold. Since we have 6 chicken legs, we need to make the same number of squares.
Step 6
Put a couple of tablespoons of the potato-mushroom filling, put the drumstick on top and wrap the edges, tie (but not tightly) the dough with a thread. Bake the drumstick in a dough on a greased baking sheet. The baking time does not exceed 20 minutes. Remember to remove the threads from the dough when serving.
