Unusual potato cutlets with walnuts are nutritious and interesting in taste. The recipe can be of interest for vegetarian cuisine, if you replace milk with potato broth, and eggs with soy sauce.
It is necessary
- - potatoes (9 pcs.);
- - bread (250 g);
- - milk (100 g);
- - onions (2 heads);
- - walnuts (150 g);
- - eggs (4 pcs.);
- - salt (to taste);
- - Provencal herbs (1 tbsp. spoon);
- - garlic (2 cloves);
- - bread crumbs (100 g);
- - olive oil (2 tablespoons).
Instructions
Step 1
Boil the peeled potatoes. When the vegetables have cooled, remove the skins and mash until smooth.
Step 2
Pour the loaf cut into pieces with warmed milk for half an hour. Then we pass the bread through a meat grinder. Scroll both onions and walnuts in a meat grinder.
Step 3
Beat eggs with salt and spices. Of the spices, Provencal herbs are best suited.
Step 4
Pour the eggs to the bread and add the garlic pressed through a press. We mix all the ingredients into a homogeneous minced meat, not forgetting to salt it to taste.
Step 5
We form cutlets of the size we need and dip them in bread crumbs. Fry cutlets in olive oil. Fry in a pan on both sides until tender.
