Nammura is an Arabian sweet. It turns out sweet, juicy and, most importantly, there is no flour in the composition. It doesn't take much time to cook. Nammura just melts in my mouth.
It is necessary
- - 250 ml of water
- - 250 ml of kefir
- - 500 g semolina
- - 600 g granulated sugar
- - 250 g of vegetable oil
- -1 tbsp. l. rose water.
- - 0.5 cups coconut flakes
- - 1 tbsp. l. baking powder
Instructions
Step 1
In a bowl, mix kefir, 100 g of granulated sugar, semolina, vegetable oil, baking powder. Knead the dough quickly without letting the semolina absorb the liquid.
Step 2
The dough should be thick, like sour cream. Place on a dry baking sheet. Nammura should not be high, no more than 2 cm.
Step 3
Place the nammur in an oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake until golden brown for about 30-40 minutes.
Step 4
Start preparing the syrup. Mix water and 500 g of granulated sugar, cook over medium heat until boiling. Add 1 tablespoon for the smell. rose water and then remove from heat.
Step 5
Cut the nammuru on a baking sheet in triangles or squares and cover with sugar syrup, sprinkle with coconut. Garnish with almonds if you wish.
