- 800 grams of rice;
- 800 grams of chicken fillet;
- 800 grams of carrots;
- 800 grams of onions;
- 200 grams of prunes;
- 350 grams of sunflower oil;
- about 800 milliliters of water;
- spices and salt to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
The most important thing in this recipe is to properly prepare the so-called zirvak. Zirvak is the base of the dish, it is a mixture of meat, vegetables and spices added to taste. Wash and cut the chicken fillet into small pieces.

Take a saucepan, pour sunflower oil into it and heat the saucepan over high heat.

When the oil is hot enough, place the chicken fillet on the bottom and fry the slices until golden brown.

While the meat is roasting, peel and finely chop the onion.
Step 5
As soon as a crust appears on the meat, reduce the heat, put the onions in a saucepan and continue to fry everything. The onion should become translucent, that is, half finished.
Step 6
While frying the onions, grate the carrots and add them to the pan with the onions and meat. Now you need to fry the carrots until half cooked.
Step 7
Once the carrots are tender, add water to the pan, season with salt and pepper, reduce heat to low, cover the pan with a lid and simmer for an hour. The broth should be slightly salty. It's okay, because then other ingredients will be added to it, to which salt will not be added.

While the meat is stewing, sort and rinse the rice. Cover with water and leave the rice in water until the zirvak is cooked.
Step 9
After making sure that the zirvak is ready, drain the water from the rice and gently pour the rice onto the zirvak. It is important not to mix rice with zirvak.

After pouring the rice, add heat, put the prunes on top of the rice.

Once the water in the pan begins to evaporate and absorb, make a few indentations in the rice layer.

Cover the saucepan with a lid, reduce heat to low and leave to simmer for 20-30 minutes.

After the time is up, stir all the ingredients together, arrange the rice in portions and serve.
