Puff pastry kurnik is a cake with a rich history. It was served on the royal table for special events. The special highlight of this cake is that it consists of several layers.

Step 1
First of all, you need to bake pancakes. Then boil the chicken with the addition of black pepper and bay leaf. Disassemble the finished meat into small pieces by hand and mix with pre-chopped herbs. Boil eggs hard-boiled, peel and mix with pre-boiled rice and herbs. Cut the salted milk mushrooms. Roll out one layer of dough.
Step 2
Put a pancake on a layer of dough and evenly distribute the rice and egg filling.

Lay out another pancake and put a layer of mushrooms on it.
Step 4
Lay out the next pancake and evenly spread the chicken filling. Each layer must be covered with a pancake.
Step 5
Roll out a large circle from the remaining dough and cover the whole cake with it in such a way as to cover all the layers of the cake. Gently pinch the edges at the base. Make a small hole for the steam to escape. Decorate the cake with small figurines made from dough. Put the pie in a preheated oven and bake for an hour.
Step 6
20 minutes before being ready, take out the pie and brush with a mixture of cream and yolk. Take out the finished pie, cover with a towel and leave for 20 minutes. The cooled cake can be served.
