Hearty homemade potato pie on kefir will delight households at dinner or guests at any celebration.
It is necessary
- - 500 g of potatoes;
- - 500 ml of kefir;
- - 3 pcs. chicken eggs;
- - 50 g butter;
- - 50 ml of vegetable oil;
- - 2 g of baking soda;
- - 10 g of sugar;
- - 5 g of salt;
- - 2 pcs. bulbs;
- - 200 g of premium flour;
- - 2 g of black ground pepper;
- - salt to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
In a large, wide cup, combine kefir, salt, sugar and stir. Beat the eggs until foamy in a blender and add to the kefir mixture, mix everything well again.
Step 2
Take a small skillet with a thick non-stick bottom and heat it well on the stove. Place butter in a preheated skillet and melt, but do not boil it. In a small glass, quench the baking soda with a little boiling water. Add slaked baking soda to the butter. Stir and remove from heat. Let the mixture cool well, but not harden.
Step 3
Sift the flour into a wide-rimmed bowl. Add kefir mixture and cooled butter, knead the dough. If necessary, flour can be added during the kneading process. Wrap the finished dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for a couple of hours.
Step 4
Rinse the potatoes well in warm water, peel and dry. With a sharp knife, cut the potatoes into small cubes, literally a few millimeters. Can be chopped in a vegetable cutter or grated on a coarse grater. Wash the onion, peel and chop finely.
Step 5
Take a round baking dish and grease it with oil. Place half of the dough on the bottom. Raise the edges gently. Spread potatoes evenly over the dough, then onions and again potatoes, season with salt and pepper, add a little oil. Top with the remaining dough. Bake at maximum temperature for one hour.
