  • - 500 g sugar
  • - 250 g butter,
  • - 100 g of coconut flakes,

  • - 500 g of apples,
  • - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of starch.
  • Glaze:
  • - 200 g milk chocolate,
  • - 100 ml of cream.

Instructions

Step 1

Rinse the eggs, carefully separate the whites from the yolks. Put softened butter in a bowl, add 1 cup sugar (regular or brown to taste) and add 7 all the yolks. Whisk well.

Step 2

Add baking powder to the flour and sift several times, so the cake will turn out to be more tender and airy. Add the sifted flour to the beaten egg yolks.

Step 3

Whisk two egg whites in a separate bowl. Stir in the whipped egg whites into the dough. Divide the finished dough into two parts. Add cocoa to the first part, stir.

Step 4

Add 250 grams of sugar to the remaining egg whites and beat until peaks. Gently stir in the starch and coconut.

Step 5

Wash the apples, peel, grate, lightly squeeze the juice.

Step 6

Line a baking dish (rectangular or square) with parchment. Place the cocoa dough on the parchment and smooth out gently. Place the beaten egg whites and coconut mixture on top of the dough. Lay the apple layer on top. Cover the filling with the second part of the dough.

Step 7

Preheat the oven to 175 degrees. Bake for 45 minutes.

Step 8

Remove the finished dessert from the oven. Top with chocolate icing. For the icing, combine hot cream and chocolate. Leave the dessert to cool completely. Then cut into slices and serve with tea.
