Cappuccino is a popular worldwide drink of Italian origin, which combines the sharpness of strong coffee and the softness of milk froth. We are used to getting a portion of fresh cappuccino in a cafe or coffee shop, but at home we usually make cappuccino from a bag. You can try making cappuccino at home without using a coffee machine or special devices.

Step 1
A quality cappuccino consists of one third of good strong black coffee. In other words, to make a cappuccino, you need to brew a portion of espresso and be sure to strain it to avoid getting coffee grounds particles into the drink.
Pour cold water into a Turk, add ground coffee and bring to a boil, removing from heat, as soon as the foam starts to rise. Leave the coffee to infuse. Then strain.
Step 2
Meanwhile, while freshly brewed coffee is infusing, pour milk and cream into a saucepan. Heat until hot without boiling. At this stage of cooking, you can add granulated sugar if desired. Whisk the cream and milk mixture right in the saucepan using a conventional hand blender. Beat until a dense, thick foam is formed.
Step 3
Pour hot milk over the espresso that has already been strained into the cup. Gently lay out the remaining foam on top. You can now sprinkle the surface with cocoa or cinnamon powder, if desired. In this case, you can use a stencil prepared in advance to get patterns on the coffee foam. Or draw something with a wooden skewer.
And you can immediately, before the foam has settled, enjoy your favorite cappuccino, prepared at home.
