It is necessary

  • For four servings:
  • - 750 g of pork;
  • - 500 ml of water;
  • - 130 g of sugar;
  • - 3 onions;
  • - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of salt.

Instructions

Step 1

Pour water into a large saucepan, add sugar, put it on medium heat. Cook until sugar starts to caramelize. Be careful not to burn sugar!

Step 2

Add coarsely chopped pork to the caramel syrup. Fry it on all sides until golden brown.

Step 3

Peel the onions, cut into larger pieces, add to the meat. Roast together, then reduce heat.

Step 4

Add water so that the syrup covers the pork completely, salt, simmer for 1 hour. Make sure that the liquid does not completely evaporate.

Step 5

The water should boil down to a golden syrup. As a side dish, boil rice, put on a dish, put pieces of pork on top, pour over the dish abundantly with sweet syrup.
