Meat casserole can be made from pork, beef, or even liver. But what if you put it all together to get a completely new dish ?! All three types of meat will need to be minced and baked in the oven under a layer of grated cheese. The result is a very tasty casserole with a very pleasant and unusual taste.

It is necessary

  • - beef 300 g
  • - beef liver 200 g
  • - pork 400 g
  • - potatoes 3-4 pcs.
  • - carrots 200 g
  • - wheat bread 100 g
  • - milk 400 ml
  • - onion 1 pc.
  • - eggs 2 pcs.
  • - breadcrumbs 50g
  • - parsley roots 2 pcs.
  • - bay leaves 2 pcs.
  • - water 1 l
  • - fat 50 g
  • - hard cheese 200 g
  • - black peppercorns 3-4 pcs.
  • - parsley
  • - salt and pepper

Instructions

Step 1

Wash beef and pork well and dry slightly using a napkin.

Step 2

Peel potatoes, parsley roots, carrots and onions and wash thoroughly. These ingredients must be coarsely chopped and sent to the pan. Put previously prepared meat there. Pour everything with one liter of water, salt, add bay leaf and peppercorns. Cook until tender over medium heat.

Step 3

The liver must be washed, and if there is a film, then remove it. Cut into random pieces and dip in milk for 15-20 minutes.

Step 4

A few minutes before the end of cooking meat and vegetables, add the prepared liver to the pan.

Step 5

Drain a small amount of broth and soak the bread in it.

Step 6

Pass the cooked meat, liver and vegetables 2-3 times through a meat grinder. Pour salt and ground pepper into the minced meat, add eggs. Stir the mixture until it becomes homogeneous.

Step 7

Grease a baking dish or deep baking sheet, then sprinkle generously with breadcrumbs, and top with the meat mixture. Sprinkle with pre-prepared grated cheese on top. Bake the dish for 40 minutes at 200 degrees.

Step 8

Be sure to serve the finished casserole hot, after cutting it into portions. Potatoes are best served as a side dish. Decorate the dish with a sprig of parsley.
