This is a very delicate, airy and low-calorie dessert. Crispy fragrant meringue, sour cherry filling, airy, completely weightless strawberry-flavored hat - well, who can resist such a delicacy! But the main thing is that it is not so difficult to cook this beauty, you need to have free time and a desire to pamper yourself and loved ones with a delicious homemade dessert.
It is necessary
- - 3 egg whites;
- - a glass of sugar for meringues, 2 tbsp. spoons - in the filling;
- - 200 ml of water;
- - 150 ml of milk;
- - 100 g frozen cherries;
- - 1 pack of strawberry flavored whipped cream;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of starch;
- - a pinch of citric acid.
Instructions
Step 1
Beat the whites with the sugar to form strong peaks, the sugar should dissolve completely. This takes about 10 minutes.
Step 2
Place the egg whites in circles on baking parchment. Bake for 1.5 hours at 90 degrees in the oven. After that, cool the resulting meringue.
Step 3
Fill the cherry with water (you don't even need to defrost it), add 2 tbsp. tablespoons of sugar, bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
Step 4
Dissolve the starch in 3 tbsp. tablespoons of plain water, pour over the cherry filling, bring until thick, remove from heat, cool.
Step 5
Mix the milk with the whipped cream thickener (sold in sachets in the Bakery Products section of the stores). Beat on high mixer speed until a stable air cap forms.
Step 6
Put on the cooled meringue for 1 tbsp. spoon cherry filling, cover with an airy strawberry cap, garnish with a whole cherry. Delicious cakes are ready.
